It is an especially strange and difficult time we are living in. In light of the state of emergency which has been declared by the governor, and most especially in light of the health risks posed to both our brothers and our neighbors, it is with a deep sadness that I must announce the postponement of Credo 17.
There are simply not enough words to express my own sorrow and sadness for this situation. There is so much to be said, but I will try to just leave you with a couple of thoughts.
“For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:10 ESV
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
I have no idea at this point how, but we do know that God will work this out for the good. He did not bring this sickness, but he will bring the healing.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful and kindle in us the fire of Your love. Send forth Your spirit and we shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth.
O’ God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy Your consolations through Christ our Lord.
